Then a bit later we overhear a guy at the bar asking where we were staying tonight and Lexi told him. We realized we were being dramatic and our room would be fine. She then asked why we were in town and we told her for the wizard of Oz things. She said it was fine because nothing bad ever happens in Wamego. We then went to the bowling alley where we asked the bartender, Lexi, about the motel. They both said it’s not too nice and in the ghetto but we should be fine. We went to eat down town and asked our waitresses about the motel. We were so nervous because our keypad number was incorrect and the lady knew it right off the top of her head. When we got into the room we were nervous that the only lock on the door was the keypad lock. This made us nervous as is but we continued with our night. She said “oh you’re probably room 121, here is your new code”. Once they FINALLY answered I didn’t get a chance to give my information, the lady knew exactly what I wanted. We called all three provided numbers multiple times and there were no voicemails set up. Upon check in our code was wrong and we couldn’t get ahold of the front desk. We got to wizard of oz room, it was amazing! However, we never actually stayed because of too many sketchy events.
